The company was founded by Henry Ford on June 16, 1903. In 1985, during the fuel crisis in the United States, Ford Motor released another hit - the Taurus car, and the next year it bought the famous Aston Martin car brand. In 1990, the Jaguar brand was bought for $ 2.5 billion, and in 2000, Land Rover for $ 2.73 billion. Ford Motor also acquired a stake in Kia Motors Corporation and Mazda Motor Corporation.
